Choose France for Science

Launched on April 18, 2025, the Choose France For Science initiative aims to welcome and attract top-level researchers to France. It offers them the opportunity to freely pursue their work alongside colleagues already established in France, benefiting from the nation's scientific dynamism and dedicated resources to support this transition. It builds upon the efforts undertaken with the research programming law, enacted in 2020, which was designed to substantially strengthen the resources of research laboratories.

Led by the ministère de l’Enseignement supérieur, de la Recherche et de l’Espace (Higher Education, Research and Space), and operated by the National Research Agency (ANR) within the framework of France 2030, this initiative is at the heart of France's strategy for attractiveness and scientific diplomacy.
